TOO FAT FOR CHINA

Show Overview

TOO FAT FOR CHINA

ONE WEEK ONLY!! LIVE: April 9–13

digital viewing available thru April 15

by artist, writer & performer Phoebe Potts

Winner: 2023 "BEST STORYTELLING"  - United Solo - the world's largest solo performance theater festival

"Fascinating, riotous and Raw" - National Public Radio

Phoebe Potts wants a tiny little baby, & she's stopping at nothing to get one.

Her hilarious, award-winning solo takes a comic look on the agony of adoption.
The journey starts where she grew up in Brooklyn.
Not the lavendar-kale Brooklyn you of present day - but old-school Brooklyn, where everyone was Jewish.

Phoebe's hilarious, heartfelt performance chronicles her quest - and takes us on a journey that encompasses race, religion, interconnectedness and love.
Deeply heartfelt, wholly uproarious: the show is honest, brave, illuminating, and very entertaining.
