Intense Camps

LOST NATION THEATER'S ADVANCED EDUCATION PROGRAMS RETURN!
Part of the celebration for LNT's 50th Birthday. 

Our youth performances are one of a kind and an outstanding opportunity for the participants to learn about every aspect of theater, its protocols & etiquette, and to experience the challenges of an intense professional rehearsal process. They are the culminating projects of one and two-week intensives.

Our Advanced Intensives are full-day experiences jam packed with the activities of a professional rehearsal process (led by professional directors and designers from across Vermont and the Country) with specialty workshops. It's hands-on learning and ensemble-theater based. 
LNT rehearal periods are typically 2 -3 weeks, six days/week; 7 hours/day. (Not everyone is called all the time.)

 
In 2027, LNT is reintroducing Pre-Professional Training for teens and college age students. 

Participants will perform in one or two Lost Nation Theater Mainstage shows - a musical and 'straight' play.
Workshops with production directors and other leading professionals will prepare students for intensive professional rehearsal process and multi-week run.
Opportunities available for supporting and even lead roles.  

Specific shows will be announced soon - but we await final permissions from royalty houses. 
(so for the moment, "mums the word.")

The musical will be in the summer, with performances July 21-Aug 1.
The play date will be determined by permissions.
LNT is not looking to cast actors/participants in both the musical and play tracks. However, we are open to aspiring performers audittioning fof both tracks.

All advance intensives are by audition/interview. This process will begin in Jan 2027.

LNT is also hoping to resume its Stage Management/Technicla Theater training tracks in 2027 as well.

Meantime - one week production intensives in musical theater are programmed and confirmed.
These advacced intermediate level intensives are led by noted director/choreographer and teacher Alexa Kartschoke - a Vermonter now based in NYC!
They are open to ages 9-18.  No audition needed. More challening roles available to more expereinced students.

Shows are: 
Seussical (kids) over the Winter Break - Feb 20-27 (with 3 fully staged/designed performance in 2 days Feb 26 & 27)

and

Annie (kids) to start Summer Vacation - June 19-27 (with 4 fully staged/designed performance in 3 days June 25-27)
