Beckett and Joyce commiserate, confide, cajole, criticize, and confound each other.
They also trade wits with "The Colleen of the Gate", and contend with the women they have wronged: Beckett's wife Suzanne and Joyce's daughter Lucia.
Lost Nation Theater presents the newest work from the writer of last season's award-winning: Both Eyes Open: The Annie Oakley Story.

Sam & Jim in Hell is the third full-length play by Jeanne Beckwith LNT has helped to develop and present.
Jeanne Beckwith is an award-winning playwright whose works have been produced across the country and internationally.
Curtain is 7:30pm Thu/Fri/Sat; 2pm Sun: Oct 5–22.
Run Time is approximately 95 minutes with no intermission.
Sam & Jim in Hell - our 2023 Season Finale - will be performed in our home stage within Montpelier City Hall!

Sam & Jim in Hell reunites UVM Theatre alums: Kim Bent and Jock MacDonald!
Pictured here getting together to begin to explore the script & their characters for Sam & Jim in Hell!
Kim and Jock first joined forces for LNT back in 1990's The Glass Menagerie, (as Tom & the Gentleman Caller, respectively) and later teamed up to play Austin & Lee in Sam Shepard's True West (they alternated the roles night to night).
(and here they are 20 years ago as Austin & Lee in True West)
They're already having a blast!
