April 07, 2019

Danielle Wirsansky Joins Lost Nation Theater

Lost Nation Theater announces the creation of a new position -
Associate Managing Director.

This position will assist the company's Artistic Directors and Board of Directors.
From day to day and production details to marketing & development, this new position will help ensure LNT is ready for the future.

We're even more thrilled to announce that Danielle Wirsansky is filling this integral new position.

Danielle is traveling up from Florida right now to make Montpelier Vermont and LNT her new home.
What's driving (????) her to make the transition?
Danielle offered in her interview that not only was she impressed by the high quality of LNT's work, but also by its commitment to community (with all our special events, programs and education work).
And that eye for "the bigger picture" (along with her obvious skills and capability) is why Lost Nation Theater is so happy to welcome Danielle as a new & vital member of LNT.

A Little More About Danielle:

An arts administrator and playwright, Danielle Wirsansky was the Founding Artistic Director of White Mouse Theatre Productions in Tallahassee, FL and a Theatremacher Fellow of the Alliance for Jewish Theatre in 2017.
She has a BA in Theatre, a BA in English (Creative Writing), and an MA in History (Modern European History/Public History) from Florida State University. Using theatre as a platform for public history is one of her passions. Her plays and musicals have been performed across the world from Boston, MA to Sligo, Ireland, to Viborg, Denmark, and more! Danielle is also a proud member of the Dramatists Guild.

Danielle says:

"I'm excited to join the LNT family!
Its mission, particularly breaking boundaries, taking dramatic action, and courageously making things happen, speaks deeply to my own personal mission as a theatre maker.
I'm looking forward to meeting  everyone and working with the company and the community."
