Commemorating Martin Luther King Day in 2022

Dr. Martin Luther King's Family is calling on folks to get involved in passing voting rights as a way to celebrate the day.

Here are articles about that in The Washington Post, CNN, Axios/Yahoo News

and if you want inspiration, in addition to Dr. King's own words, as interpreted by our colleagues and friends, check out this interview with the late great John Lewis.
(And here's where you can see the movie "Good Trouble")

So we're re-releasing our 2021 MLK JR Day Video Project

Thank you once again to all the artists and community members who participated, and made this dream come true by sharing your favorite quotes and excerpts of speeches, sermons, and letters, as well as songs of the civil rights movement.
Thank you for being part of the call to continue his work and celebrate his legacy.

We hope that everyone who sees this video is as inspired as we were by making it!

Extra special thanks to friends and colleagues Dawn M Ellis and Shanda Williams for collaborating with Artistic Directors Kim Bent and Kathleen Keenan to grow the germ of an idea into this video project.
