Spring is nearly here – and so is Lost Nation Theater’s 2025 Mainstage Season! We want to Celebrate!
So we’re bringing you our SEASON SAMPLER SNEAK PEEK PREVIEW PARTY - a taste of what’s to come –
Wednesday, March 19th at Montpelier’s newest party spot: Montpelier Performing Arts Hub on the Vermont College Campus.
We’re so excited!
Join our host George Woodard and a host of popular LNT actors, directors & designers for a fun & festive evening of mouth-watering morsels, luscious libations, congenial conversation, and songs & scenes from Lost Nation Theater’s eclectic & entertaining season.
The Season Sampler Sneak Peak Preview Party is like a “Live and In-Person” Sizzle Reel!
What a blast! Get a taste of every show! And a highlight of our youth theater too!
Quintuple “Threat” Taryn Noelle (actor, dancer, singer, choreographer, director) will be on hand to showcase one of the many show-stopping tunes from The Drowsy Chaperone in which she’ll star this summer, says:
-
I’m so thrilled for LNT's amazing 2025 Season! LNT is a true home away from home for me, and this season's headliners are some of my all time greatest Theatrical Heroes! I am so excited for the big Kickoff Event on March 19th! What a joyous way to start the season by bringing so many people in the "Family" together to celebrate and spread the hope, joy and beauty of the Performing Arts!
Performers also include Eric Love, Kathleen Keenan, Kim Bent, and Tim Guiles – all featured in LNT’s 2025 season.
“Beaming in” to say "Hi" will be actors Tommy Bergeron, Stoph Scheer, and Phoebe Potts. Directors and Designers for the season, including Joanne Greenberg and Cora Fauser, will be present in person, ready to mix and mingle with you!
Eric Love (director/actor) shares his excitement:
-
“I feel so blessed to return to LNT for my 17th season! THE DROWSY CHAPERONE is a very personal project for me. Not only is it one of my favorite musicals of all time and in addition to directing it, I will be returning to the stage after a 3 year acting hiatus to embody the Man in Chair! (A perfect fit!) I can’t imagine a better show for this summer when we'll all be ready to escape into the world of this musical comedy for a hilarious rowdy romp; and can’t wait to share a little of my passion for it with you at the Season Sampler Party!”
The Season Sampler Sneak Peek Preview Party is the brainchild of Kianna Bromley, Kim Bent, Cat Elwert, and Stoph Scheer.
The Sneak Peek will also shine a light on LNT's youth education programs as Lila Crowley and Julia Perez will recreate a scene & song from their recent adventures playing Winnie & Jessie in the musical Tuck Everlasting - the culminating project of LNT's Winter Dance-Theater Intensive for ages 9-15.
The Hub (in Vermont College’s former Gary Library), will be specially decorated with set pieces, costumes, and models for LNT’s 2025 season.
And while costumer Cora Fauser is very happy to let her prototype for The Revolutionists speak for her, Director Joanne Greenberg cannot wait to share her excitement about LNT's fall production of the Tony & Pulitzer Prize Winner Next to Normal.
-
"I was in the audience—alternately sobbing, laughing, and awe-struck—during the previews of Next to Normal at Second Stage Theater in 2008.
I went back with my theater students when it transferred to Broadway. I've seen it a lot!
In all of its iterations, Next to Normal continues to feel fresh, relevant and powerful, treating such issues as grief and mental illness with compassion and humor.
And the music! Everything from soulful ballads to raucous rock tunes, all of which transport you to the complex, humane world this family inhabits.
I cannot wait to get started, and getting to get a taste of the show at the Preview Party will be such a special treat!
At the Preview Party, enjoy the chance to mix & mingle with LNT artists, supporters, and patrons while being treated to nifty nibbles. Get the inside scoop! Find out about LNT, its upcoming programming (including workshops & camps) and more. It’s a real party!
Founding Artistic Director Kim Bent offers:
-
“Now more than ever we’re proud to be actively promoting and celebrating the connections between us.
It’s great to be giving that a jump start by sharing excerpts from the upcoming season in which we will be Telling Stories that Restore Us.”
