"WHAT A JOY TO PRESENT THE WORK OF THESE 25 HARDWORKING  ASPIRING "TRIPLE THREATS" - that's theater talk for folks who are actors, singers & dancers!

 

KIANNA BROMLEY (Stage Director)

Kianna (she/her) is a licensed Theatre Arts Teacher and performing artist based in Montpelier, Vermont. She teaches technical theater and acting at Montpelier HS where she is both the Artistic Director & Technical Director.

On stage in Vermont, she has performed with Lost Nation Theater, Dirt Road Theater, Green Room Productions, Vermont Stage, and Lyric Theatre Company. Her favorite roles include Eponine (Les Miserables), Penny (Hairspray), and Velma Kelly (Chicago). She trained at Circle in the Square Theatre & School in NYC and the University of Vermont. She has studied voice with Ben Fankhauser, Stacy Chadwell, Bill Reed, and Beth Falcone. Kianna sings locally with an improvisational circle singing group, appears in sketch comedy, and is a trained intimacy choreographer. Kianna is currently the Founder and President of a new non-profit in Montpelier that is actively fundraising to open a brand-new performing arts center called the Montpelier Performing Arts Hub. She thanks her incredible husband for being the best dad whenever she performs and her kids for their patience and support.

WYATT AUBUT

Wyatt has been cast as Dickin in The Secret Garden, Jack in Into the Woods Jr and, most recently, Pugsley in LNT’s  The Addams Family.  Wyatt competed for Mr. Petite Centerstage at his last two dance competitions, placing 2nd the first competition and winning the title his 2nd.  Wyatt is a triple threat in theater, as he also participates in vocal lessons. Wyatt's ultimate goal is to be on the stage in a professional capacity, and there is no doubt, he will get there. 

LYDIA BEARSCH

Lydia is a 6th grader at MSMS and is thrilled to join Lost Nation for this opportunity. Lydia loves Carol Burnett, cheese, and her amazing mother. She spends recess directing and writing plays with her friends.

ISLA BUTTERFIELD 

Isla enjoys reading and physical activity. Her favorite genres of books are fantasy, realistic fiction, and mystery. Isla loves to ski at Sugarbush with her family during the snowy months and to bike with them in the summer. When she's not busy with all her after school events, Isla likes to stay home drinking hot chocolate and spending time with her cat, Josè. She is currently a 7th grader at Crossett Brook Middle School in Waterbury, VT and she is looking forward to expanding her musical horizons with show choir.

KATIE CONYERS

Katie's favorite instrument is her voice. She has participated in musicals for the last 3 years at Crossett Brook Middle School. She enjoys preforming when she is singing and acting. She's excited to add show choir to her experiences in performing. Katie enjoys babysitting young children. She loves babies and Taylor Swift. 

MARISSA EARLE-CENTERS

Marissa has always loved the performing arts. From when she was little and did dance performances in her living room, to playing a flying monkey in the Wizard of Oz with Vermont Youth Theater. When not on stage, you can find Marissa hanging out with friends downtown or reading a favorite book. She is so excited to have this experience with Masque Theater and Show Choir

ZORYAN IVAKHIV-GRAY 

Zoryan is passionate about the Natural world. He loves to follow deer trails to find woodland inhabitants or at least their signs. He is an advocate of rewilding and bringing back lost species and landscapes. He loves to sing and dance, and has a big heart.

RUBY DYSON-DIAS

Ruby started her acting career in the Hudson River Valley where she began exploring many aspects of the performing arts, including singing, acting, script-writing, lighting, sound, and set design.  In 2nd grade Ruby performed "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and in 3rd grade she performed "The Other Side" from The Greatest Showman at her Elementary School's Talent Show. 
She participated in several Foot in Mouth Players Productions: The Wizard of Oz, Elf Jr., and Beauty and the Beast.  Ruby got involved in acting through local theater camps, participating in 12 mini-productions and the 2019 Summer Playwright's Festival -  directing, producing and starring in her own play, The Birthday Present at the Philipstown Depot Theater in Garrison, NY. 
Ruby was cast as Buddy in Stage 16's 2022 production of Elf Jr. at U-32 Middle School.  In 2023, she participated in the productions of Frozen Jr. and The Addams Family, both at Lost Nation Theater, and in the production of Mean Girls at The Barre Opera House.  She is looking forward to developing her skills, making friends and having fun during Show Choir!

ELLIE GEIER

Ellie has been singing for a long time and continues on in chorus class, and singing for various people, young and old. She plays the piano, and though she hasn’t been in many shows, Ellie has taken voice lessons and been involved in show choir for 2 seasons. She participates in middle school track and field, also for her 2nd year, and enjoys the throwing events. Ellie will be glad to continue singing in the future. 

URSULA LAMB

Ursula is 12 years old. She has been doing theater since she was 4, mainly with Vermont Youth Theater. She loves to sing and do karaoke with her friends. Her favorite Broadway musicals are Hamilton, Hadestown, and Mean Girls. She has been playing piano for around 5 years, and just started to learn guitar. She goes to Main Street Middle School.

ZINNIA GRUEN 

Zinnia is an eighth-grader who has been singing and dancing since she was a toddler and putting on little plays at home for her family. She loves music, acting, and all things fashion-related. Zinnia has performed in Elf, the Musical, Mean Girls, and The Wizard of Oz. When she's not rehearsing or playing school sports, she enjoys swimming, biking, playing in the snow, and putting together fun outfits. She's interested in learning to sew to design her own clothes. Zinnia is thrilled to be part of LNT's fall/spring musical theater camp.

ELENA GUADAGNO

Elena is an 8th grader at Main Street Middle School. She loves acting, dance, and music. In addition to Lost Nation Theater, she has played multiple roles with theater companies including Dirt Road Theater, Vermont Playwright's Circle, Kellogg Hubbard Library, Vermont Youth Theater, and Masque Theater as well as performing with Contemporary Dance and Fitness studio. In her free time, she likes to draw, cook, and play the cello. She can be seen in Lost Nation Theater’s The Prom this summer. Elena has loved working with everyone in Show Choir and hopes you enjoy the show!

ASTRID KIM

Astrid loves soccer, skiing, ultimate, and singing. She has performed with the Masque show choir and the MHS musical Urinetown, and at Musical Theater camps. When she's not at practice or rehearsal, she enjoys reading and playing with her little brother their cat, Milo. An active community member, she is thrilled to be a part of bringing LNT back and seeing Montpelier come alive again! 

SATYA TANDON-FRIEDMAN

Satya is in sixth grade, she is 12 years old. She enjoys nature, art and karate. She  loves animals and has 8 chickens. Satya enjoys trying new foods and learning languages. She is new to the theatric arts.  Satya enjoys acting.

BELLA MILLER

Bella is a 7th grader at Cabot School. She loves to sing, and is excited to be joining other like-minded students. Bella also likes playing basketball and spending time with her friends. She loves to learn different instruments. She has been learning how to play piano, violin, electric guitar, xylophone, bongos, and clarinet.

 JUNE SCHOOLCRAFT

June is an avid gymnast and spends many of her waking hours singing. She enjoys music, movement, dance and the outdoors. She loves performing- and has done so in her school musicals, Circus Smirkus camp and as a vocalist in the Spectacular Spectacular show two years in a row.  June is very much looking forward to this new performance opportunity! 

EVELYN WAGNER

Evelyn was born in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Montpelier as a baby. When not performing with LNT she is playing field hockey or basketball and performing with Vermont Youth Theater. She has been studying/performing with LNT since 2020.

AMELIA GARLAND

In addition to doing theater year-round, Amelia takes part in chorus at school to keep her skills sharp. She is often seen hanging out with her cousin on the weekends, or finding a friend’s performance or sports events to watch.
Amelia claims that her dog, Lonnie, is the cutest dog ever, and they enjoy spending time together. She also strongly believes that dogs are cuter than children. She is very excited to be participating in this session of show choir!

IZZY GIL

Izzy loves to be a part of the theater.  She has performed in various plays since she was a little kid.  She is a creative soul that enjoys knitting, making clothes, listening to music and cooking.  At home, she loves to spend time with her two cats, Sam and Pumpkin.

ALARA KOHN 

Alara is a senior at Montpelier High School who is passionate about theater and comedy. She is a very active member of Masque Theater and has been in every production for the past three years. Her other theatrical interests include improv comedy as well as writing sketches and plays. Alara is excited to be a part of the LNT community once again.

 MAYA KOTKES-CUMMINGS

Maya (she/her/hers) is a freshman at MHS and has been participating in theater since she was 8. She began her journey with LNT when she was 10 in their rendition of The Wizard of Oz Jr. Prior to LNT's show choir, Maya performed in Masque and Full Circle Theater show choir. Some of her favorite roles include Scuttle in Masque’s The Little Mermaid, The Baker's Wife in FCT's Into the Woods, and ensemble in LNT's The Addams Family. Aside from being onstage, Maya enjoys assistant directing children's theater with Vermont Youth Theater as well as participating in vocal training. Maya hopes you enjoy the show!!

ADARA MORRIS

Adara lives life to the fullest. She is adventurous and relishes time with friends. Adara loves to be on stage performing either singing, dancing, acting, or playing the guitar.  She enjoys animals and hopes to have many of her own. You can find Adara on a sports team each season playing soccer, running track or swimming.  She is excited about her first year of Show Choir with LNT.

EDITH LANE

A junior at U32 High School, Edith began singing and participating in theater at a young age. She has been in a number of productions and groups, including Pirates of Penzance with Youth Opera Company of OCM and Free to Be You and Me with U32's Stage 16. In addition to singing, Edith enjoys listening to a wide variety of music, has played trumpet, bakes, runs on U32's cross country team, draws and paints, does photography, reads, and enjoys science. She also enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and cats. Edith is very excited to be participating in the Senior Show Choir.

ELSIE PAWUL

Elsie has been singing, acting and dancing in local children's theater productions since the first grade.  As she is now a junior, she's been exploring her future career options in music and theater. She has explored many musical outlets including (but not limited to); clarinet, piano, ukulele, electric bass, opera, vocal jazz, chorus, theater and songwriting. She takes pride in her friendships, especially those that she's made through theater.
Elsie is excited to participate in her very first production with Lost Nation Theater!

DANIEL BRUCE (Accompanist)

Daniel is a sought-after conductor, pianist, percussionist and musical director for theater shows. He has been working with Lost Nation Theater since 2003.

Daniel has his Masters of Music in Conducting from Northwestern University, and his Bachelors of Music in Applied Piano from the Hartt School of Music – playing everything from Bach & Brahms to Broadway and Jazz. Daniel has in fact been musical director/conductor for over 100 musicals. He is the founder of the Burlington Civic Symphony, served as interim music director of  the Vermont Philharmonic, and was just appointed the conductor for the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra 

MADDIE STEPHAN

Maddie loves performing music! At school, she sings in the honors chorus and the assembly band. As a little kid, she used to perform songs in the living room for her family and friends. After high school, her dream is to study music at Berklee!

 MOLLY CLARK (Music Director)

Molly is a music educator and performer based in Duxbury, VT.She returned to her home state of Vermont after graduating from the Sunderman Conservatory of Music at Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Music Education. Molly began her teaching career as the Chorus Teacher and Music Director for Masque Theater at Main Street Middle School and Montpelier High School.

Currently, Molly is the Vocal Music teacher at Harwood Union High School where she also runs the HUHS Assembly program, music directs the high school productions, and directs/choreographs the middle school productions.

Since returning to Vermont, she has performed with a variety of vocal groups including Counterpoint, The Green Mountain Monteverdi Ensemble, and the VSO chorus. Molly was an avid musical theater performer in high school and college but has since channeled her love of musical theater into music direction and vocal coaching. She would like to thank Lost Nation and Kianna for welcoming her into her first Lost Nation Theater experience and her fiancé for his constant support of her musical endeavors!

 

MCKENNA STARK

McKenna is a local Montpelier High School student who loves trying new things and assisting those around them. While they are most known for their involvement in their high school’s theater program (head of the sound department for MRPS Masque), they are also a part of other enticing communities like FIRST robotics, Mentoring Vermont, and most recently, Lost Nation Theater!

McKenna was introduced to Lost Nation in summer of 2023 with their production of The Addams Family serving as Assistant Stage Management and Sound Operator. They continue to assist Lost Nation with these positions up to present time 

McKenna has also acted in her theatre career, beginning their acting career back in 2018 with the play Fairytale Network and “treading the boards” in two shows since then. They can currently be found performing in the LNT-Masque Show Choir! (They’re glad you’re here!) 

When McKenna is not working a technical position, they can be found pursuing other interests like crafting, dancing, listening to music, and building a great community with their robotics team. Though being busy with school, they try their best to do fun and creative things in their free time, branching out to new interests as they go.
