Eric is a director, actor, and teacher in his fifth season as the Director of Education for Northern Stage, and celebrates 10 years as an artistic associate of LNT with Shakespeare's Will.

Before making his home in the White River Junction, Love spent seven years acting and directing in New York City. Love performed on Broadway at the New Amsterdam and the Minskoff Theaters in 4 Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS’ Gypsy of the Year and Easter Bonnet Competitions, representing the eight-time Tony award-winning musical Once. Love made his Off-Broadway debut understudying Christian Borle as The Black Stache in the Peter and the Starcatcher at the New York Theater Workshop. For Northern Stage, directing credits include Matilda, Legally Blonde, James and the Giant Peach, The Drowsy Chaperone, School of Rock, Love and Information, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, Twelfth Night, Dear Edwina, and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Northern Stage acting credits include Buyer & Cellar (One-Man Show), A Christmas Carol (Ghost of Christmas Future), and Once (cello-playing Bank Manager). 

Love is also the Director of Boot Camp, a scholarship training program for juniors and seniors in high school who are passionate about pursuing a career in the arts.

For Lost Nation Theater, Love directed Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice and has acted in nine productions including Fully Committed (One-Man Show), The 39 Steps (Man 1), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), The Mystery of Irma Vep (Nicodemus/Lady Enid), and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged (Adam).
