Anything Goes Poetry Slam

Show Overview

"All Ages Anything Goes Slam with Geof Hewitt"

Vermont Poetry Slam Champion Geof Hewitt hosts this "Anything Goes" Slam where poets, acoustic musicians, jugglers, and anyone else with special talents are invited to take 3 minutes (or less) on stage in an attempt to wow the judges (and the audience) for enormous glory and modest prizes.

This Slam will feature two-rounds with the said  3-minute time limit for writers and performers! Make it through the first to get to the second!

The Slammaster says that music is encouraged, and “covers” are okay if identified as such; even group performances are eligible for the fabulous prizes! Audience members, chosen at random, will score the performances. The Grand Prize is Free admission for two to an LNT show of your choice.

Yes, this is Anything Goes, AND it’s an all-ages event, so discretion is required. Can the single voice of an impassioned poet outscore a harp and guitar duet, a juggling linguist, or a rapping martial artist? come and Find out!
