Lost Nation Theater’s student performers are out of this world in our Theater FOR Kids BY Kids production of A Wrinkle in Time - in a fun for the whole family dance theater adaptation! It all happens in LNT’s home within Montpelier City Hall Arts Center. 3 shows in 2 days: 7pm, Friday, February 27; and 2pm & 7pm Saturday, February 28.
All your favorite characters from Madeline L’Engle’s classic book are in this enchanting and magical stage adaptation by Morgan Gould featuring music & dance.
This story explores the importance of trusting yourself and the power of true connection, and of course the fun and unpredictability of inter-universe travel!

See how Misfit Meg Murray, her genius little brother Charles Wallace, and their friend Calvin, embark on a crusade across space and time to rescue Meg & Charles Wallace’s missing father (a foremost scientist) from an evil cosmic entity. Meg must learn to channel her stubborn anger and share all the love in her heart to succeed.
Aided in their quest by three celestial beings – Mrs. What, Mrs. Which, and Mrs. Who – their escapades unfold right in front of you through imaginative dance, & acting, fantastical lights and sound and more! All making the story Soar!

Led by professional designers & directors from across the country, A Wrinkle in Time is the culminating project of our Winter Youth Dance Theater Intensive. NYC quintuple threat & educator Alexa Kartschoke directs & choreographs. Jessica Della Pepa (The Prom) designs costumes. LNT founder Kim Bent handles the scenic design. Newly transplanted Chicago Hannah Clark and Avi Sheehan transform the space with evocative scenic painting and magical lighting, respectively. LNT veterans Andrew Vachon scores the sound design while William Pelton returns to stage manage.
A Wrinkle in Time is an oft-produced classic! It explores profound questions regarding the conflict between good and evil, the power of love, and the value of individuality over conformity. It challenges readers to consider if fear justifies losing freedom, how love overcomes darkness, and whether being different is a strength or a weakness. All in one entertaining, exciting, and glimmering action-packed event!
