Look for your favorite LNT performers, directors, and designers from the past 29 Seasons at Montpelier City Hall during the season, plus introductions to new artists involved with each show!

April:  Silent Sky, by Lauren Gunderson.  Look to the stars with this luminously beautiful play that lights your heart!  The incredible true story of a boundary-shattering New England astronomer is full of bold love, deep yearning, boundless determination, and the vast grandeur of the cosmos—an unparalleled treat for the heart, mind, and senses.  Truly inspiring, charming, humorous, and moving.

June: Urinetown, The Musical.  Think Monty Python Meets Les Mis! Without this Tony, Obie, & Lucille-Lortel Winning musical satire, there would be no Spamalot or Avenue Q. Officers Lockstock & Barrell lead us thru the story of Urinetown - where after a 20 year drought, water (and water-closets) are under the control of huge private corporations. Side-splittingly Funny and thought-provoking.

July: Twelfth Night.  Shakespeare's Greatest Comedy features music and a wealth of mis-adventures, mistaken identities, unrequited love, shipwrecks and silliness. Directed by Ann Harvey (who started Fall Foliage Shakespeare with us in 1995!)

August - is our Theater FOR Kids BY Kids month - and in 2018, the fully produced musical being mounted by our most advanced students is Seussical!

September - Becoming Dr. Ruth, by Mark St Germain.  The life-affirming, humorous, and heart-wrenchingly inspiring story of the girl who would become America's best know sex therapist, stars LNT's Maura O'Brien (Always Patsy Cline, Sylvia, Lost in Yonkers.

October - Disappearances - Howard Frank Mosher's quintessential Vermont novel comes to life onstage in an adaptation by Kim Allen Bent (Stone, Lyddie).  A young man and his larger-than-life father turn to running whisky in prohibition-era Vermont in order to save the family farm. They encounter a host of wild characters and live out magical escapades as they carve their way into legend.
