"Out of all of the theater experiences over the past 7 years, the LNT Experience was hands-down the most beneficial for A***. I cannot say enough about the collaborative, positive environment created during the intensive. Thank You!"

Take Your Performance to New Heights.

LNT will cast an inclusive & diverse company inale of Letter Scene, Mary Poppins, 2017

Work with professionals and other students dedicated to pursuing excellence and exceeding expectations with dedicated commitment.
All your favorite characters from the movie and the 2018 Broadway production of Frozen are in this enchanting dance-musical which is the vehicle for our most advanced intensive.

The adaptation is fantastic! It's an inspiringly creative, ensemble-oriented staging that allows every member of the cast to shine!
(For instance, there are 3 Annas, 3 Elsas plus a powerful chorus of dancer-singers who make the magic & action happen!)

Stretch your triple-threat potential as LNT’s professional directors provide participants with new tools and self-awareness to grow your acting, singing and dancing skills (often helping participants exceed what they thought possible of themselves.)

Designed for aspiring professionals, the focus is on honing new skills through a rigorous & intense professional rehearsal process with specialized classes including character-development, physical acting, voice, choreography & dance, theater protocols and “biz-savvy” audition prep.
Highest levels of concentration, collaboration, openness, ensemble-spirit, and self-discipline and self-motivation are demanded.

Culminates in a fully-staged, professionally designed and directed production running for 5 performances.

*General auditions for acceptance into the Intensive’s Ensemble are:

You will perform your monologue/song (whichever order is most comfortable for you) and then be prepared for Kathleen to ask you for adjustments and "work" part of one or both of your pieces with you; as well as have a little conversation. No appointment is needed, just come to the lobby of LNT during the audition hours.

Callbacks for specific roles (within the ensemble) will be in June.
Notification of roles and distribution of scripts occurs early in July, giving cast members 3-4 weeks to memorize lines and lyrics before starting rehearsals.
In two-weeks, ensemble members mount a full production of this new classic. The Wizard of Oz, 2019

The production's leadership includes  the heart of LNT's Kander & Ebb CABARET production: Musical Director Patrick Wickliffe and Choreographer Taryn Noelle (winner, 2017 Gov’s Award for Excellence in Art Education). Leon Evans (Seaweed in LNT's 2016 production of Hairspray) returns to join Taryn as Co-Director & Choreographer.

Handling the scenic design & props, one of LNT's favorite designer/teachers: Ellen E Jones. Other professional theater educators to be announced soon!

Cost: $725 ($650 before 5/1!)
