It has opportunities for advanced students even tho' it's technically more intermediate level training.)

2021 Music Theater Cabaret Advanced Course
Advanced Half-Day Musical Theater Performance Intensive:

For ages 10-18.
No Audition necessary.

A Hybrid of online and plus a week-long in person intensive
The equivalent of two weeks of advanced training!

ONSITE: M–F,  August 9 - 13, 2021
9am - 12pm
plus performance

Protocols for Covid-19 Safety will be followed and enforced.
To keep everyone as safe as possible, LNT is limiting enrollment to 10 participants.

Led by triple threats Taryn Noelle (winner, 2017 Gov’s Award for Excellence in Art Education; LNT's Cabaret and Hairspray), Erin Galligan Baldwin (actor/director/playwright & licensed HS drama teacher), Dan Boomhower (musical director) and Brandy Perez (founder Wolcott Ballet and LNT Associate Managing Director)  with other special guests from across the country, and LNT Artistic Directors Kathleen Keenan and Kim Allen Bent.

Focus on what you most want to work on: acting, singing, dance, choreography, and/or writing (songs or monologues).

After private study, come together with other serious students, directors and staff to create an original cabaret show that will be performed in front of a live audience on stage at the end of the week-long in-person training.
All participants will perform a solo (showcasing their focus & skills) and a minimum of two group numbers.

Online, pre-production development work - with masterclasses in all disciplines (that can be accessed at any time and presented by professionals from across the country), plus scheduled mentorship sessions with an instructor with specialty in your chosen focus area, beginning mid/late July.

In-person rehearsals, workshops, etc brings everyone together, polishes what's been developed and stages group numbers to create an intriguing, captivating, and cohesive cabaret that shines a spotlight on participants individually and as an ensemble.

Take Your Performance to New Heights.
Work with professionals and other students dedicated to pursuing excellence and exceeding expectations with dedicated commitment.

Stretch your triple-threat potential as LNT’s professional directors provide participants with new tools and self-awareness to grow your acting, singing and dancing skills (often helping participants exceed what they thought possible of themselves.)

Designed for aspiring professionals, the focus is on honing new skills, developing self-motivation & discipline, and performance.
Highest levels of concentration, collaboration, openness, and ensemble-spirit, needed.

Culminates in a fully-staged, original cabaret performance.

Cost: $350 ($315 before 6/15!)
