Now at LNT: Youth Theater Production Lab for ages 9-15
Tara Lee Downs and Cher Laston lead this 5-day, full-day, intensive camp exploring the creation of original work with an emphasis on character development. Perfect for students with prior Youth Theater Lab experience or those who have participated in drama programs at their school, the Lab is designed to be serious fun for serious students who enjoy new challenges.
The challenge for the dozen “Labbies” participating is the creation of their own version of Snow White. It’s theater FOR kids, BY kids! Focused mostly on learning specific acting skills, the Lab also touches on the production elements of theater (scenery, props, costumes, lighting). Snow White – as created by the participants – plays -one-show-only – Friday, February 26th at 5:30pm. All tickets are $5. (Available by phone: 229-0492, or in person at the Montpelier City Clerks’ Office – they are not available on -line.)
